W.O.W - Way Out Wednesdays

Children aged five to ten with a grown-up are welcome to register for monthly astronomy and nature programs in the Travelers Science Dome.  On a certain Wednesday each month from 3-5 PM, we will have a special themed program with a story, craft, live digital sky presentation, and sometimes live animals from our UTC Wildlife Sanctuary.

Each program will be different so, children can attend all of the programs or only those that interest them.  Space is limited so, we prefer that families pre-register.  Our registration department will accept calls until 12:00 pm on each program day. The last program before we break for the summer:

June 18, 2008 - Ugly Ducklings of the Solar System
Learn about the little brothers and sisters of our Solar System: asteroids, meteors, and dwarf planets.  Appreciate our "ugly ducklings" and make one of your own to take home.

All children must bring an adult caregiver who is able to stay for the whole program.  Museum admission for the entire day is included in the program price for those people who are not members of The Children’s Museum. 

The cost for each program:
$5.00/member child; FREE/member adult;
$12.00/nonmember child; $8.00/nonmember adult.
