Black Holes

March 20, 2010; 7:00PM-9:00PM

Join us in the Traveler’s Science Dome on a quest to discover one of our universe’s greatest mysteries - black holes! See a special showing of “Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity,” produced by the Denver Planetarium. This show features a never-before-seen look at the middle of our galaxy, state of the art simulations, and more. Take part in the creation of a black hole, as well as other crafts and games. Our telescopes will be stationed outside to view Mars and Saturn (weather permitting).

Sesame Street comes to The Travelers Science Dome! We are proudly unveiling our newest full-dome planetarium show:

One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure. Come by and be among the first to see the show. The evening will be filled with activities, crafts, giveaways and fun.

Telescope Parties

Description: Invite your friends over for an evening of star gazing! View the sky through large, professional telescopes guided by an expert astronomer. Spend three hours or more scanning the stars with up to thirty friends. Telescope parties are perfect for birthdays or anniversaries!
