Spring Hours

The Children's Museum is open:
Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

*From April to June, the Children's Museum is open on Mondays solely for school groups. However, the public is welcome to purchase general admission tickets and tour the museum while school groups are visiting. Please call ahead (860.231.2830 x14) on Mondays to find out if general admission is available and at what time the museum will be closing that day.

“NEW” Summer Hours: effective Monday June 29, 2009

Beginning Monday June 29, 2009 The Children’s Museum will be changing hours for the summer.

The Children's Museum is open:
Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Sunday 11:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Science fun, learning, and discovery happens every day here at The Children’s Museum.  Our newest exhibit Excavation Station: Dinosaurs, Rocks & Fossils is a trip into our prehistoric past. We also have daily animal demonstrations lead by our talented UTC Wildlife Sanctuary staff and daily shows in our digital planetarium lead by our Staff Astronomers.  Click here for the daily schedule.

Admission Prices
Price of admission includes a ticket to one Science Dome Planetarium Show.

Reciprocal Members: Free-Touring ONLY

$4.50 Science Dome Planetarium Show

• Free admission is granted to the two adults named on the card and up to three children under the age of 12 residing in the household.
• ACM reciprocal membership cards must clearly show a current ACM sticker.
• Please Present an ID and Valid membership card

Reciprocal members pay our regular adult and child fee to see shows in the Travelers Science Dome at the Gengras Planetarium.

The Children’s Museum is OPEN and observes the holiday and vacation schedule on the following holidays:

The Children’s Museum is CLOSED on Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Easter Day.

Wheelchair access is limited to outside entrances. There are no elevators or ramps in the Children's Museum.
