CyberSafari

The Children’s Museum has opened an exciting, new exhibit: CyberSafari. It’s a computer lab just for kids. Computer workstations, located in a new glass-walled room in the Museum’s Kids’ Corner, offer children the chance to use educational software and explore computers in a safe, age-appropriate atmosphere. The renovation was made possible by the Ahearn Family Foundation and the computer hardware was donated by KeyLynx Technologies. On your next visit, be sure to explore CyberSafari.

International Year of Astronomy

Throughout 2009, The Children’s Museum will be participating in the International Year of Astronomy, a global effort to help the citizens of the world rediscover their place in the Universe. The Museum will be holding events for the entire family, such as the upcoming Chinese New Year Celebration on January 25 and Freaky Friggatriskaidekaphobia on February 13. Keep checking our Little Eyes on the Skies website for more events.
