Fore. The Children’s Museum.
Guess how many birdies will be made during the Travelers Championship and support The Children’s Museum at the same time! Take part in the Birdies for Charity and Chip in for Charity program. These are two fundraising programs run by the Travelers Championship to support local nonprofits. The Children’s Museum is participating in both this year.
Birdies for Charity
Fill out a pledge form for a certain donation amount per birdie made during the Travelers Championship. In past years, there have been between 1,500 and 2,000 birdies made during the tournament, so a pledge of a penny per birdie amounts to a $15-$20 donation for the Museum. Pay no money up front a representative for the tournament will call you during the summer to collect on your pledge. OR you can make a one-time gift on the pledge form.
Pick up pledge forms at the Museum or fill one out online at https://secure.travelerschampionship.com/birdiesforcharity.htm; be sure to pick The Children’s Museum as your designated charity (our Bird Code is 186).
100% of the pledges received go directly to us. Encourage all your friends, relatives, and co-workers to fill out a pledge form for The Children’s Museum, and ask them to ask their friends! It’s an easy way to support all the wonderful things you enjoy at The Children’s Museum. In addition, every person who pledges is in a pool to win a fantastic prize: a 7-night vacation at a Marriott property of their choice and roundtrip airfare for two!
Chip In for Charity
Planning on attending the Travelers Championship? Buy your tickets from us! The Children’s Museum is selling Travelers Championship tickets for the discounted price of $20 (the regular One Day ticket price is $32). We keep $10 of every ticket we sell. Contact the Development Office for tickets, 860.231.2830 x51. The deadline for ticket sales is June 4.
