Family Science Sundays Kicks Off
Mr. Science demonstrates during Chemistry Day, the first Family Science Sunday held on May 16th. Thanks to a generous grant from The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., The Children's Museum has kicked off this year-long series of specially-themed days taking place on the third Sunday of every month, featuring special demonstrations, hands-on experiments, guest presenters, take-home activities, and an online component.
Winging It! Adventures in Flight Takes Off
Cutting the ribbon on April 16th to open Winging It! Adventures in Flight are Matthew Bromberg, Museum Trustee and Vice President & General Manager of Customer Service for presenting sponsor Hamilton Sundstrand, Museum Board of Trustees Chairperson Elaine McDonald, and Kevin Sullivan, President and CEO of The Children's Museum. They are joined by Hamilton Sundstrand employees and their families.
Enjoying the opening of Winging It! are Cynthia Forbes, Manager of Community Relations for Hamilton Sundstrand, and Robert & Kathy Perry, owners of FASTSIGNS in Bristol.
