Volunteer at the UTC Wildlife Sanctuary
Volunteers must go through orientation and training to ensure the safety of people and animals. Training is ongoing, the longer a volunteer is with the sanctuary and the more improvement is shown the more responsibilities that volunteer gets to take on.
Sanctuary volunteers assist staff with many tasks during the week and on weekends in the animal center. Duties include general cleaning of sanctuary area, cleaning of cages, animal demonstrations, answering questions for public and animal enrichment.
If you enjoy animals and don’t mind working hard and getting dirty this is the volunteer position for you. You must be at least 15 years old to volunteer in the UTC Wildlife Sanctuary.
