Bobby the Box Turtle’s art benefits
The Children’s Museum

Who knew a box turtle could paint?  Bobby, who lives at Turtle Town, has turned out to be quite the abstract expressionist!  He paints in view of museum visitors to raise awareness about the risks wild box turtles face in Connecticut.

Frame Dimensions in West Hartford Center hosted Bobby’s first-ever art show last year and donated the beautiful framing for the six works presented.  Each piece is signed by Bobby, named by the Museum’s wildlife sanctuary staff, and includes a fact about box turtles related to the work’s title. Four of Bobby’s pieces are still available at Frame Dimensions.
